eB2Bcom History

eB2Bcom began trading in 1996 and was incorporated in 1997 as Software Agencies Australia. In 2000, the company name was changed to eB2Bcom, derived from “enabling Business-to-Business Communications”.

The company’s niche was, and is, to introduce, market and support the products of innovative international companies for whom the Asia Pacific market does not warrant direct representation. Whilst the companies we have partnered with have changed over the years, we have always stayed with our core expertise of Identity & Access Management, Directory Applications, IT Security and specialist Defence solutions.

In 2004 eB2Bcom acquired the ViewDS directory business from Adacel Technologies, and proceeded to “reverse the process” by seeking export markets for this world-leading Australian-owned and developed search technology (www.viewds.com)

In 2005, eB2Bcom established its first overseas office based in Singapore. Our core expertise and speciality products have enabled us to make considerable inroads into the Government and corporate markets in Singapore and other ASEAN countries.

In July 2009, the ViewDS business was "spun off" into a seperate entity - eNitiatives.com Pty Ltd.
eNitiatives has a brief to market the technologies globally.

In Novemeber 2009, eNitiatives released the ViewDS Discovery Server. eB2Bcom continue as a reseller of eNitiatives products in the Asia Pacific Region.
